Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known for the pop world, is a British musician and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools formed a group called White Eskimo along with three other students. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they won. In spite of always having always shown interest in music He also wished to become a lawyer or physiotherapist. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. His band was forced to disband due to the fact that they were selected. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they created in the year 2010. The group sang The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. The result, they were among the finalist. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
